Bret Hart diagnosed with cancer

Hoping for the best for Bret and his family. Hopefully they caught it early enough.

I wish him the very best, hope they can treat it. I've been a huge Bret Fan since I can remember. I was watching him when I was 8 years old.. Had the glasses and everything.

One of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
 
He and his family have had such troubled lives, it's amazing that not only is he still alive but for the most part he seems to have his life together. Sad to hear this. He's my all time favorite professional wrestler and a role model in general to me. Hoping he can beat this and continue to be an inspiration to others.
 
I can only hope his suffering is as minimal as possible.

After Roddy passed, I had a conversation with my friend and I said that if Bret were to go, I would have to walk away from pro wrestling. It would be one scar too deep.

He's such a huge part of my childhood, along with Macho Man and Warrior etc. etc.

Was going to say this.The family has issues and Bret seems to be the most normal, but he has the worst luck.

I'm sure like any other eighties/90a wrestler he did his share of partying and used what he had to, but I still haven't heard any stories of him doing crash shit while high or drink. Hell maybe his obsession with his character lead him not to do drugs like the other guy.
 
He and his family have gone through so much over the past 2 decades. I hope he beats this.
 
Get well Hitman. His family has had so much goddamn tragedy over the last 20 years, so hopefully he can live along life and continue banging that young wife of his. Prostate cancer isn't the biggest deal in the world if they catch it soon enough, so I'm hoping that's what happened here. And hopefully if he survives a cancer scare, he'll lighten up and stop being so damn bitter.

I read his book and he says he smoked plenty of weed, but what kept him from getting into hard drugs like the rest of the boys were doing was smashing as much puss as possible. To hear him tell it he was basically banging a different chick every night on the road.
 
Praying that he'd overcome this. Concussion, retirement, stroke, Owen dying, his parents passing away, Davey, the issue with Owen's widow, hell even tyson kidd's injury bothered him. Really hoping that Bret would overcome this. He's the one constant figure that I looked up to even if sometimes he took things too seriously but it's kinda warranted considering the situations he's been in.

Glad to see everyone showing their support especially hogan and hhh amidst the recent comments Bret had given them.
 
Prostate cancer is fucked up, especially if he has to get the surgery. Someone very close to me survived it... It's not pancreatic cancer, there's a good chance.

Good luck to the guy.
 
damn,cancer is getting plenty of early hits in this year.heres hoping he gets through it ok.
