Muslim Obama still saying ISIL instead of ISIS. This fucking guy is a joke

@Brampton_Boy

I will post my response to your post here since the other thread is locked.

It is certainly important to encourage others to love one another. I completely agree with Roger Scruton who wrote, "I have no doubt that St Paul was right to recommend faith, hope and love (agape) as the virtues that order life to the greater good..."

I find the mindless chanting of these slogans through the media is merely a naive and empty gesture. The version of love they are putting forth is more of a tyrannical silencing. If you criticize Islam or ask too many questions, then you are being hateful. Also, what is this "Love Wins" slogan supposed to achieve in a practical sense? Giving love and peace a chance is great, but how will that stop Islamic terrorist from killing people on a mass scale? It is brutally naive to go on about love and understanding while completely ignoring the fact that there is evil in the world and sometimes violence is necessary to combat that evil. Love is only part of the answer.

Here is Roger Scruton's quote in full: "I have no doubt that St Paul was right to recommend faith, hope and love (agape) as the virtues that order life to the greater good. But I have no doubt too that hope, detached from faith and untempered by the evidence of history, is a dangerous asset, and one that threatens not only those who embrace it, but all those within range of their illusions."

100 shot last Saturday and we are worried about hurting someones feelings. He's spending more time defending Islam than the 55 people who were murdered.

Who's buying this shit?

ISIL stands for Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, which encompasses more than just Syria and Iraq. It's more accurate.

I'm still shocked w/ all those cats there, assuming it was just 1 shooter, nobody tackled him from behind? they could easily mob him....

I'm not going mark walbherg billy badass over here, but if you witness a good 50+ people get shot, clearly the dude isn't playing. Why not try to stop him?

Not me I'm actually sad that this guy isn't sticking up for us as Americans

Come on man it is a very stressful situation people are fucking scared and react differently unless there was a few trained people in there who could remain calm even then the idiot probably spraying the gun and has zero kick control there is just to many variables

I took a break in the last day or so as this whole tragedy burnt me out.

But then there's this news-piece that came out that really depressed me as a Christian:

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/mass-sh...sy-over-pastors-remarks-about-orlando-attack/

Might as well get it out there as it's already mushroom-clouding into a story all it's own (probably deserves a thread all its own if it hasn't already).

I don't know how this guy got a "Baptist" pulpit.

It is a bit bizarre to me how much damage 1 man caused. Alarming really.

Seriously, this guy only mentioned the victims of Orlando for less than a minute. His entire speech was condemning Republicans for not supporting his choice for cabinet and his gun control laws.

Same old shit where he is more concerned about people saying bad things about Muslims then anything else.

Yes there are plenty of good Muslim people out there that are horrified at this and that's not the ones people are talking about. We just want to make sure the ones that see it as something they would not do but understand why he did something like this in the country.

I can get on board with this.

I don't like that the narrative surrounding islam and terrorism is almost binary in nature (either you are against all muslims, or accepting of all muslims).

For me, I think it is due time that the islamic community takes a seriously introspective look at what is driving radicalism and what constructive measures they can do to stop it. Further to that point, it think muslims living in western countries need to demonstrate their willingness to subscribe to the cultural and legal norms of their adopted homeland.

The obligations to your country should always supersede the obligations to your religion, and if you don't like that, then go elsewhere.

However, I find it extremely troubling when I hear people paint islam and its practioners with such broad brushes - as if identifying with islam somehow automatically makes you an enemy and forces you to subscribe to the Quran by the letter.

Most of the muslims I know in my day to day life are awesome people - they are people I am privliged to call friends. Muslims are as a diverse group of people as anyone else - ranging from the bat shit crazy to upstanding citizens.

So when I hear people talk about all muslims in such vile and hateful ways, I feel compelled to defend them.

Do you have cliffs for us Canadians? Or a link?

Obama completely disregarded the shooters motives by saying 'he was led by bad shit online'. If he had shown 1/10 of the anger towards the shooter than he showed Donald Trump, I probably could have respected him.

So his dad is a homophobic islamist, and his ex-wife takes his gay ass scouting for locations. And neither reported anything about this sick fuck. Fuck these people with a barded wire baseball bat man, djeez.

His wife looks like a "moderate" doesn't she?! Yeah, this thing is massive. WAY more massive than the liberal left wants to acknowledge. It's called Islam. It's called death-cult. Creeping Death.

This is the last thing those people thought would happen, they were probably all drunk and distracted.. Not much you can do when you get sucker punched..

No links yet but

- Spends only the first minute talking about the Orlando Shooter
- Blames Internet not ISIS for radicalizing the shooter
-Talking about how ISIS is hurting in Iraq and Syria
- Condemns Republicans for not supporting his recommendations for office
-Condemns Republican Senate for not supporting Gun Control Laws
-Attacks Donald Trump for Immigration ban
-Defends Islam
-Tells us we can't use the term 'radical islam' because not all muslims are bad

That the wife new this was going to happen and didn't report it really threw me in a bad mood today

She's guilty as well. Never needs to get out for assisting this act of terror

Also, are any of the rumors about shooter actually being gay true? Seeing very mixed reports. This against puts it back on the "scouting" side with his sightings at gay clubs
