Those who have followed ADCC know wrestlers have had success, not necessarily high level ones either.

But to find someone who won it all, you have to go back in time.

The others who you mentioned in your article have had success in other competitions and even boast some IBJJF credentials.

I wish there were more wrestlers who would compete in ADCC. In the early days there were a handful and now most wrestlers either stay in wrestling or stay in MMA.

The early days were different.
They were doing what they had to do to get MMA fans to watch, so big names were just straight up invited.
Fans wanted to watch this new thing because guys like Tito, Matt Hughes, Mark Kerr, and various others were going up against the elite BJJ guys of that era.
They didn’t have qualifiers back then.

That other organization, Metamoris, has done a little bit of what early ADCC did.
