Did they bet on Fight doesn't go to decision?

If they only wanted to protect him, they could have made him remain sitting after R11, for example.
As it was, it looked so stupid.
Why take away Stewart's effort to last through all of that?

So glad the referee rejected that dirty towel.
Stewart should question his questionable corner.
