BOTTOM LINE: The reason why Usman is still not signed and why Movsar and Arman are not getting their rightful shots at the straps...

This Umar stuff is nonsense. If Umar broke his hand in the first, how did he have no issues winning the 2nd? If he had Merab's number without both hands like you claim then why did he still lose? The reality is he didn't have the cardio. People were saying he gassed because he broke his hand, which makes zero sense.
Because a broken hand in an MMA fight will almost certainly get worse in the later rounds? The pain, swelling, and physical damage will increase with continued impact, hindering the ability to punch effectively or grapple effectively?

Now combine that with the fact you are fighting a guy with the greatest cardio ever. 🤔

It was a clear 48-47 win* for Merab with a massive asterisk, a rematch is super necessary

One judge actually scored round one for merab, too. Lol. At no point in that fight did Umar "have merab's number"
Umar clearly clamed it after landing that hard right in the final minute. Chris Leben > Chis Crail.

My point was that it was a close round. TS is saying Umar had Merab's number solely off that round, a round he was arguably losing until he landed one good shot with a minute left, a round that merab still won on one judge's score card.

A close round doesn't equate to "having his number"

Aye, I know how a broken hand works. The guy claimed he didn't need two hands to beat Merab . . . so he should have just won easy anyway, no?

It wasn't a clear 48-47 for Merab when on judge had it 49-46, which was a fine enough score.

A broken hand doesn't gas you. People claiming he was puffed because of a broken hand are ridiculous.

The titles wont look like that. For one, Evloev is not champion material and i don't think he's good enough. Usman is not in the UFC and there zero indication how he will do in a higher level division. I don't know if Ankalaev will be back in title contention anytime soon, it will be the least a year or more before a shot and thats no certainty. And Islam at 170 has some serious bigger guys there.

As much as you guys make these posters with all Russian champs, it could very well be that a year from now there is only one.

49/46
48/47
48/47

So Umar broke his hand in the 1st.
Merab fought with a staph infection/back injury and still won. His coaches considered canceling the fight.
The lack of respect Merab gets for putting Umar in his place is disrespectful.
