Shavkat needs an opponent and Sean Brady hasn't fought at all in 2023 and has no fight booked. Shavkat should agree to the fight and if brady doesn't he deserves to be unranked after choking in his fight against belal and pulling out twice.
Despite Brady having 0 leverage with the UFC at this point, he's still a solid opponent but Shavkat would probably look good running him over which will give shavkat a top 5 ranking.
 
Shavkat vs Usman is the bloody obvious fight to make. Shavkat needs a former champion with a big name to really put him over. Usman fits that bill perfectly. And if Usman really wants to try get another crack at that strap - Shavkat is the type of guy you need to beat to get people paying attention again.

Usman is going to duck all the younger top prospects, he wants Wonderboy lol. I think he said he'd only fight someone like Shavkat or Garry if it's for a title.

Usmans excuse is that they are all in the same gym. Kinda like a Merab aljo thing but this time it's burns shavkat Garry luque and usman
 
Makes very very little sense but depending on a lot of other things it could possibly be the fight to make as opposed to waiting forever, keep the ball rolling. If it's avoidable, then no way it should happen and lol at beating Brady makes Shavkat leap Burns into the #5 spot. Of course he could be number 5 with Burns 4 since Khamzat has absolutely no business in the WW rankings. Not that it matters, they will manipulate rankings to whoever has a fight coming up.
 
Brady doesn't deserve the chance to fight Shabkat at this point.

JDM got taken down a bunch against a regional CFFC guy. There's a reason why they went from giving him a legit grappler to putting him in there with Holland.

I hope Holland goes in there and choses to grapple because he will take a steaming dump on JDM if he wants to go that route.
 
i think it’s actually a good idea if nobody else will fight shivkat. first, brady is ranked. he lost for the first time in his last fight to a guy who will challenge for the belt soon. kinda premature to write him off as a can.

I don't rate Brady too high tbh. He has like 1.5 rounds of cardio. I think Shavkat eats him up in the striking.. even early.
 
Eh...I'd like to see Brady have a tuneup or two. He really does strike me as someone who is probably much much better in the gym, and hasn't figure out how to find his range under the lights. I'd like to see if a few very winnable fights can get him to his full potential. I feel like putting him in with Shavkat would be a huge mistake
