Bob Sapp vs. Aori Gele in Road Fc

The announcer said Sapp weighed 160kg (419lbs) but then the screen said 149kg (329lbs). Anyway that was a really exciting fight! Sorry that The Beast took the L but that Chinese fighter was savage, no shame in losing to someone of that calibre.
 
Bob Sapp is 2 - 16 in his last 18 fights.....How the heck does he keep getting fights?.....He needs a nickname change.

Classic Robert, one day he's going to take all the money he's earned from throwing these fights and bet on himself at crazy odds and walk away with a truckload.
 
It was refreshing to see Bob actually attempt to stay in the fight.
 
Notice how in his older fights he would often rush in recklessly from the starting bell, and now he takes his time stalking his opponent, taking a more calculated approach.
 
I thought that Sapp retired from combat sports for good and his fight with Akebono was a one time thing only. I am glad he is still competing so true MMA fans can witness his greatness.
 
I like this Aori Gele fella. I want to see him fight Minowaman, Canseco, Dada, etc.

Bellator should pick this guy up and make a star out of him.

I say let him fight in a diaper and sell him as the giant sized baby he appears to be. Shit just rename him "A Giant Baby" and every fight sells itself. "Ken Shamrock vs A Giant Baby", "Dada 4999 is out of the hospital, ready to take on A Giant Baby", "Can Manhoef hang with A Giant Baby?".

I'd watch.
 
He has alot of nerve damage in his face from the cro cop fight, that has just gotten worse and worse over the years.

similar to koschecks face from the second gsp fight, and what we have seen happen to kos after the nerve damage. When he gets tagged in the face, his body shuts down.

Well if true, that's like the worst weakness you can have in combat sports. When your Achilles heel is your face, maybe it's time to hang 'em up for good.
 
I was actually impressed at how long he stayed standing.

Exactly why I don't get Sapp! To me, it's like being an arm wrestler who's strength is big hands and weakness is arm strength. Does not compute. Just find another career. Why he didn't just stay with pro wrestling I don't get. He must love Japanese pussy.

Can't believe people think sapp wasn't 100% committed to losing that fight like he always does.
