Dark horseHome Alone. It's great and has that classic John Hughes feel and is something everyone can watch during the holidays. Plus it's pretty damned quotable and Culkin may be one of the best child actors too.
Big has creepy diddler vibes throughout plus Tom Hanks ended up moving to Greece because he's a diddler and Culkin probably got diddled. Maybe even by Hanks? So you gotta root for Culkin in the end.
Both are big movies. But 1 gets replayed ALOT more than the other.
I never saw Home Alone
I grew up with guns too an all that but that didn't hinder my enjoyment of the movie at all. I enjoyed it straight up for what it was. Plus, Kevin and his family didn't seem like "gun" type of people, so that pretty much explained it.Maybe it's growing up with guns in my house and learning to shoot at a young age, but I could never relate to Kevin's methods of dealing with the Wet Bandits.
