Realistically we may potentially have both UFC HW title holders walk away from the belt. Historically I can't recall if this has ever happened to a division.

This is only going to happen if the UFC once again refuses to pay the Champ. Big Frank should've been paid to stay and now Goat Jones should be paid to defend.

Jones should've been given the 30M he asked for Ngannou fight in the first place.

When that didn't happen they should've resolved the Ngannou issue which occured later.

UFC fans want quality… Ngannou priced himself out with his demands and the UFC wasn’t going to overpay for a slow windmilling specialist who got outstruck by Black Beast and embarrassingly taken down by a white belt French Kickboxer.


The UFC did right placing all their chips on a proven winner… they got the GOAT making history and doing much higher numbers as the A side.
