Raccoons aren't assholes. They're just scavengers. They'll fuck up your trash, your garage, your pet's food, anything.

But they won't attack you. It's actually comical how desperately they avoid confrontation. They'll run into shit when you spook them by coming up on them scavenging said areas. There is zero body coordination, they aren't goddamn world class backflipping acrobatic ninjas like squirrels, there is just sheer terror, and them bouncing off every unfamiliar obstacle in the vicinity as they scramble feverishly to get away from you.

It's hilarious.
