What are some of yall's favorite events in UFC history? Whether it's the quality of the fights, ungodly hype leading up to it, a combo of both, or maybe just one fight you're particularly fond of.
My pick is UFC 189. Every single fight on the main card would've won FOTN on their own card. You have arguably the greatest fight ever in the co-main event with Robbie-Rory 2, and then an immense atmosphere with the Mendes-McGregor fight and the live walkouts.
Some other favorites are:
UFC 66
UFC 84
UFC 100
UFC 129
UFC 199
UFC 205
UFC 217

Ufc 235 because that’s when the GOAT Ben askren choked the soul out of a former champ.

UFC 205

UFC 47 has a special place in my heart...

UFC 91 as well. The PPV broadcast was actually able to show the entire card since the main card bouts ended early and that gave them enough time to replay all of the preliminaries...

UFC 31, might be the best event ever.

There were 2 title fights, including Couture vs Rizzo (one of the best fights ever)- one of Chuck Liddell's best performances, a very entertaining bout with Shonie Carter and the debut of the prodigy.

Randy Couture (c) def. Pedro Rizzo
Carlos Newton def. Pat Miletich (c)
Chuck Liddell def. Kevin Randleman KO
Shonie Carter def. Matt Serra KO
Semmy Schilt def. Pete Williams TKO
Matt Lindland def. Ricardo Almeida DQ
B.J. Penn def. Joey Gilbert
Tony DeSouza def. Steve Berger

They simply don't make them like they used to.

Fight for the troops #1

Bonkers kos and the army environment was awesome. It felt like a stage level in Street Fighter 2. It also felt a bit like someone said, "wouldn't it be cool if." Then they made it happen.

Sometimes the meh cards really deliver.

I have seen everyone of them, and many were excellent. Can't pick out one.

UFC 189 for sure—Every main card fight ended in a finish (including 2 flying knees lol), the Rory-Robbie 2 fight was on that card and the Conor-Mendes main event was a good one as well.

UFC 217 if the GOAT event though I think. Crazy stacked, 3 title fights and 3 title changes. All amazing fights.

UFC 142 Aldo-Mendes is another with great finishes in 4/5 main card fights (the other was a DQ)

UFC 196 just because watching Miesha choke Holly’s ass out, and Nate choke Conor’s ass out was pure bliss for me.

UFC 146, all HW card. I’m biased here because this was my first live event, but an all heavyweight card was super fun. Also had some good stuff in the undercard, and every main card fight ended in a finish.

129 was the first card I ever bought. I still think it's one of the best ever.

Matyushenko scoring a beautiful KO, Lyoto vs Randy, Aldo's UFC debut in a classic fight vs Homminick, and GSP dismantling Shields. Plus a ton of finishes early on the card and a great crowd in the stands.

Great event.

Everything you guys already said. If it were a free card I’d say Fox 5 in Seattle. Big name roster and some entertaining fights. I’m biased since I was there.

UFC 217, UFC 100, UFC 189 for me.

But UFC 217 is #1.
We rent it for my birthday. We went crazy at every championship fights. Cherry on top: the GOAT wins by finishing Bisping. Crazy night.

UFC Rio/134

First event in Brazil after many years in a time MMA was exploding here like never before or after. In the undercard we had the young Erick Silva emerging as a hot prospect with a flash KO and Rousimar Palhares with that insane fight against Dan Miller when he thought he had won and started celebrating in the middle of the fight. In the main card we had Nogueira stopping the favorite Brendan Schaub, Shogun finishing Griffin and Silva consolidating himself as a superstar in Brazil. The arena packed and the crowd going absolutely nuts since the very first fight. Great card.
