Good morning Sherbros,

I'm going to my first MMA event ever next month. I'm going to an arena. What are the best seats to watch an MMA event?

I was thinking middle seats cuz I have seen people complain that the cage gets in the way if you have floor seats.

Thoughts?

No one would ever say that, only people that can't afford better seats.

1st row, 2nd level.

Best value for your buck.

I'm sure people who have sat there before will agree with me.

I was asking a simple question. Be more respectful. Can you answer my question? Which are the best seats to have a clear view of the fights?

This is my recommendation for almost any sporting event. Being up close is great, but a little away and higher up will give you a better overall view of the action.

Probably in my garage with tv to stereo, also fridge and grill...And with the pisser out the door...

Bottom of 2nd tier works for most any type of event...Sometimes floor seats are great and sometimes not, all depends...

I had 2nd row, where the fighters exit the cage at the only event I went to. They were good seats but I found myself looking up at the TV at times when they started grappling on the mat.

Also, the posts of the cage can get in the way at times.

It depends on the arena, what you're willing to spend, and hoping for. Some people like to be by the fighter walk. I usually look for seats in my price range then pick the best section, or look for a price jump up or down to maximize value.

Obviously the 4 main 90 degree positions are the easiest and get a larger viewing area in the cage. I also prefer first row off of the floor at a place like the MGM GGA.

It really all depends on what you want.

this... i sat 1st row 2nd level in staples last year and they were perfect, only about 80 bucks too. Didnt miss a thing the whole event.

I've been to 4 events everywhere from ringside to the bleeders and honestly it doesn't make a difference as you end up watching the big screens most of the time. I prefer to watch on my couch for a fraction of the cost.

If your going to go splurge and get good seats , bottom bowl or near the front on the 2nd deck
Just keep in mind that your going for the atmosphere because the best bang for your buck is still at home with the cheap beer

Thanks for the responses guys. Look like 1st row, second level is the winner!

Behind Matt Hughes. Best bang for your buck.

A lot of it depends of the layout of the arena, all have different layouts and give different angles. But In general the 1st row and 2nd level are great. The nosebleeds are worthless for a UFC event, I been in the nosebleeds before at UFC events and you spend 95% of the time watching the big screen, you can't see much at all.

ive sat on the floor. and its true.

Being elevated above the cage is better.

For the most part, the best seat is in your house. At the event, you will likely watch the bigscreen a lot no matter where you're sitting.

I personally prefer to sit by the fighter walkouts. It is elevated and you're closer to all the fighters.
