NFL Is the NFL Rigged? ( Sir Elzio Mega Discussion )

buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
1977-JCP-SB.jpg

i have all the Tecmo games but still miss that one.

I had six hand painted teams, yep, two conferenes of three, ha~~~~~

When that on clicker broke, I pulled the wires off the housing and would touch them togethr manually, must have shocked myself a 100 times, ha~~~~

Seahawks - 4.5

My perfect system has them up by 2

I do expect that Pats o line being the reason the Seahawks win and cover, 27-21 seems about right,

Keep in mind Seattle has this playing in Santa Clara down, since they do it every season.

Darnold the first USC QB to win a SB.

So If Maye does win the SB he will have beaten

Seahawks
Broncos
Chargers
Texans
Bills

This season, yep,,,,a stud

Starting RB;s who also returned kicks

Jimmy Brown early on****
Gale Sayers
Terry Metcalf
Timmy Brown
Bobby Mitchell
Ollie Matson
Paul Lowe
Abner Haynes
Wilbert Motgomery
Eric Metcalf

Obviously these guys make too much $$$$ today to gamble using them on a kick return

**** imagine a 230 pounder returning kickoffs, what a sight.
Tiki Barber did as well for the NYG

He can also an be put on the OP for Virginia

And should also be in the HOF, one of three with 10K rushing and 5K receiving and the NYG all time leader

The fumbles and lack of a Super Bowl I think get him forgotten but he was legit in the early to mid 2000s.

People (rightfully so) give the Dallas O line a lot of credit for Emmits success, but let's not forget he had Troy-Boy and Crackhead who could absolutely murder you through the air. Tough spot for the opposing Defence to be in when you couldn't just fill the box to stop the run.

I totally agree, and the guy got better with age. Hell why did he retire he was killing it? Yep his combined yards were outstanding now add his average per carry a gaudy 4.7.

Help me out,.....did he get in that final season?

Smith had solid numbes at Florida, he was the real deal and would have been on any team, just a little better behind that line.

I have said...imagine Barry behind that line, forget that since he wasn;t we got all those great....oh shit now what.....runs only he could come up with.

Usually runningbacks are the third fastest guys on a football team, they can't run with most WR or cornerbacks, here are 10 exceptions at the NFL level.

No order....

Bo Jackson....10.39 but faster than that
Herschel Walker....placed in the NCAA 100m
Ollie Matson.....Olympic 400 medalist
Curtis Dickey....world ranked sprinter
Michael Bennett 10.18
Travis Williams 9.3 yards a great kick returner
Jonathan Taylor 10.33
Chris Johnson 10.3ish
Adrian Peterson 10,2ish
Rayeem Mostert 10,2ish

Most great sprinters don;t have the size we see in runningbacks.

Tyreek Hill a college RB as was Bob Hayes.

Then there was TCU's Cyrus Leland a white cat back in the 30;s a runningback on the Horned Frogs football team and a 100 yard world record holder at 9.4.

Cy Leland stands out as one of the most successful multi-sport athletes in TCU history, as he ranks as one of the school’s best both on the football field and on the track. An All-Southwest Conference halfback on the Frogs’ 1929 unbeaten conference championship team, Leland rushed for 100 yards four times in his career and three times in 1929. His 13 rushing touchdowns that season stood as a school record for 26 years, while his 17 career scores sat at the top of the TCU career charts until 1956. He led the nation in 1929 with a 7.2 yards per attempt rushing average, and his 93-yard punt return for a touchdown against Baylor that season remains the school record. Despite his football exploits, Leland’s crowning athletic achievement came on the track, as he tied the world record in the 100-yard dash with a mark of 9.4 seconds at the 1930 Kansas Relays.

Th HOF? No he is still not in but should be. He did get better with age but he bailed on the Giants and retired the season before the beat the Pats the first time
