Best Kickboxers of all time

130kg and 7 foot. I would say it's a massive advantage. He wasn't ballooned like lebanner or the others so he kinda moved naturally. Manny Pacquiao is good at boxing and PFP better than fury but you think Manny would win? C'mon man this discussion is old.
Why...is your example a 140 pound person fighting a 270 pound person? Why wouldn't you just use other heavyweights, other then it not supporting your narrative? The Manny thing isn't even analogous. Is Usyk 7 foot tall and 300 pounds? He is 6 foot and 220, around the same size as Schilt's competition, actually smaller than most of them

Combat sports isn't dominated by guys Semmy's size. Dutch people aren't exactly going into the NBA either, so you can't use that excuse. If Semmy is the only guy around his height then that obviously points that being good at fighting requires a lot more than just being tall.

The most common answers to this question are (from my experience):
Giorgio Petrosyan
Buakaw Banchamek
Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong
Ernesto Hoost
Peter Aerts
Semmy Schilt

Some honorable mentions that are in the conversation as well as fighters who had extremely high skill peaks that match or arguably eclipse the aforementioned fighters:
Andy Souwer
Masato Kobayashi
Tenshin Nasukawa
Chingiz Allazov
Rico Verhoeven
Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao
Remy Bonjasky
Superbon

I'd replace Sittichai with Remy Bonjasky in that first block and then we're good.

Now if we look at modern times only (post K-1):
  • Tyrone Spong
  • Sittichai
  • Nieky Holzken
  • Rico Verhoeen
  • Petchpanomrung
  • Superbon
  • Artem Vakhitov
  • Alex Pereira

I'm biased since he's my favorite fighter of the modern era, but what are your thoughts on Chingiz? Noticed he was missing from your list. I think his overall resume isn't as strong as some others, but his skillset in the ring is some of the highest I have seen, as well as his best wins being over Sitthichai, Superbon, and Marat.

The dude is a beast and I felt that at the time of his retirement nobody could beat him at 70kg. Its not just the fact he was beating top names but how he was doing it. He had freakish power and was extremely technical. Having said that I dont feel that he dominated long enough on the circuit to be listed in the list of the best of all times.

Schilt was good because he's around 3m. 185 Schilt would be average at best
This argument is dumb. He fights the way he fights because of his size. If he was at a different weight and frame he would had never developed the style he developed.

There have been plenty of tall fighters that sucked. Schilt is undeniably top 3 whether you like the aesthetics of his style or not.

For HW I got Aerts I disqualified Hoost for his loses to Sapp.

I'm surprised you have Sponge in the class with those guys (plus over Chingis and seemingly, anyone Japanese).

Sponge had a good run after K1, but most of his notable wins are against guys clearly past their prime. KB during the early Glory days was still kind of organizing itself too, which is when Sponge had his best streak.

I think Doumbe has a better resume than Holzken at 170lbs.

Let’s cut the bullshit, the best are Andy Hug and Peter Aerts ✌️😎

i understand, But Spong cemented his legacy before the Glory days. Between his -75 and -93kg's he was nearly unbeatable. And even at HW, he only lost agains Saki, LeBanner and Ubereem.
