any sherdoggers that can recommend any good instructional dvds??

thanks in advance

Unfortunately, the only exposure I've had to boxing instructionals is through YouTube. I'm pretty sure someone posted this elsewhere recently, but check out a user on there called billiardjay. He has a wide range of high-quality clips. I would suggest browsing through a bunch of them and seeing which ones you like the best, then look around for the full DVD somewhere.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help....

I think billiardjay's videos (at least, the Title vids) are pretty much the full vids. The Title DVDs are only 10 minutes including ads, so I think the "clips" billiardjay posts actually contain most of the content from the DVDs.

picked up John Brown's Mastering the Mitts DVD. Roger Mayweather and other trainers show how they holds mitts so i liked it. havn't tried his other instructionals but am pleased with this one

agreed!

If you are a little more advanced I liked the the Freddie Roach Video, Advanced punching techniques. And the title video, boxing at angles........

I found a torrent a while back with all of the title boxing dvds. They were really terrible and vague. I don't claim to know everything or anything about good boxing but after having watched those I'm still in the exact same place. You'd have good luck on you tube relative to actually paying for a dvd. Having said all of this the Freddie Roach videos weren't half bad.

Title boxing dvds suck

Freddie Roach dvds are decent

DOn Familton dvds have some good info too

Russ Anber's vids are very well done.

Kenny Weldon's DVD set is the best imo.

John Browns DVD's are top notch as well. The few that I've seen.

Another vote for Kenny's. Also if you ever get a chance to attend one of his clinics, go!!
