Hey all, so ive been looking around for some gloves that are gonna be good for sparring. I've got a nice pair of bag gloves, but the only 16oz I have are everlast and they are brutal for my partner.

I'm looking for a pair that I can spar pretty hard with. I got heavy hands and sometimes pop my partner pretty good so I need something that will make it so we can keep sparring.

Thanks in advance.

What's your budget?

For the price you can hardly beat the Ringside IMF's. 2 1/2 inches of protection over the knuckles. The older models are about $80. The new ones about $100. The only problem I had with the older model was dry time. They take a while to dry, often times days.

+1 for the Ringside IMF.

The Combat sports IMF gloves look awesome in blue/white as well.

+1 fot GFG Hitman gloves. Yes, they are lace up, but they are awesome imo. Fit, leather, lining - everything is really nice.
Of course Ringside IMF are always an excellent choice.

Ring to Cage makes an excellent product. Thier MiM gloves rival the IMF's.

You mean their MIM's are a copy of the IMFs, right? then they took Hayabusa's strap system and put it on the MiMs.

I wonder what company will copy ringside's "quick tie" first.

Don't quite think many are going to imo. Ringside did not invent it, it is more or less widely used in other sport equipment. Some people like it, some not. I do not expect any obsession of it among other manufacturers.

I always like people who wore Twins when sparring. They are the softest gloves I've felt on my face.

I must say the c-17s are really soft on your partner and your own hands. And there cheap withoUT sacrificing quality
