I'll be doing an internship in Englewood, CO from August-January and am looking for somewhere to train. I'm a beginner looking to get quality training so I can develop good fundamentals. The price shouldn't be a problem for me, but just include it for me so I can compare them to each other. Thanks!

if you're going to be down in englewood and want both BJJ and MMA, factory x is a good choice.

Factory X is a very good MMA gym, their BJJ is more focused on no-gi and MMA so if that's what you're looking for I'd go there. If you're more interesting in sport BJJ in the gi, my gym, Busy BJJ in Centennial, is a really good option on the south side. We're very gi focused and fairly sporty but for those things I think you'd not be able to find a better place in the area.

In and around Englewood, you have Busy BJJ, Factory X, Easton (check eastonbjj.com to see which one would be most convenient, probably the Centennial location), Colorado BJJ, and Katharo BJJ (formerly Relson Gracie)...those are the big ones. You'd probably be fine with any of them, though I'm not surprised to hear that Factory X is more focused on MMA and no-gi.

Pricing should run $150-$200/month; at least, that's what I've always experienced in Denver.

I'll be in Denver in October for business and would like to do a Drop In. I'll be staying close to the airport with limited transportation. Any recommendations?

Colorado BJJ Stapleton maybe. The airport is way the hell out on the plains, there's not a lot around there. I don't know if the train line out to the airport will be operational by then (I think not), but if it were that would make it a little easier to get around.

Any student of Robson's is welcome at Alchemy. We're downtown, though. PM me a couple days before you come in.

As uchi said stapleton. I visited their early morning class. Solid group of guys there. Get an Uber to drop you off. It's about a 15 to 20 minute drive.

Zingano BJJ Brighton is actually a shorter drive from DIA than CO BJJ Stapleton. Both are good gyms. Nothing else that I can think of would be within 35-40 minutes.

I know. Last year I had to skip my training because of how far everything is out there and didn't plan well.

Thank you for the offer! I'll grab a Cab/Uber if I have to. I like going to friendly places.

Tuesday - Denver DEN (Probably Alchemy)
Wednesday - San Fan (Kurt Osiander's)
