Smashing that balloon the size of Conor's foot

Foot work at its finest

Cardio for days, Paul is fooked

Also, raw KO power

Yikes, why is he doing this to himself?

Hopefully he gets paid well for this public embarrassment, If we get another KO like the Nate Robinson fight I think we all win.

He said that he's getting the biggest pay day of his life. I'd think in the millions. Also he has one of the most embarrassing KO'd in MMA history and he didn't seem to care that much.

Yeah, people criticise Askren but their favourite fighter 100% won't be able to shrug off a loss the way Askren did.

I hate this thread and everything it stands for.

Public embarrassment? Don't let your ego do it to you..somebody has to be the loser of the fight. Also. Don't forget Conor became rich from his "public embarrassment"

Yeah he be laughing all the way to the bank

I don't know why people think Jake Paul is going to knock out Askren. Has anyone actually watched Jake Paul's fights against complete amateurs?

He's not good.

He might be planning to tie up good ole Jack Paul the entire time. I don't think Jack is good enough to sneak a KO off in the clinch. He could barely get Nate Robinson from grabbing onto him.
Of course he's going to clinch. A lot.
He's going to lay on Paul for 5 or 6 rounds until he is completely gassed.

I don't know where people have suddenly got this idea that jake paul is a competent boxer from. Opposed to ko'ing a basket ball player running at him chin first has he actually looked better than any guy other guy on roids would with 3 years training?

Askren's hip is looking better. He looked awful in his last couple of fights, could barely walk. People need to realize they were seeing a retired, 8 year out of prime Askren in the UFC.

I'd add to this that he's shown himself to be a realist (and jokester): after the Maia fight he said something like "I'm retiring because I came to the UFC to test myself against the best. Maia is one of the best grapplers in the UFC, and he beat me at my own game. If there's guys who can beat me at my own game, then I'm never going to be the champ, which is why I was doing this".
At any rate, if he's getting a good payday out of this (or better yet doing some charity work), good for him.

It breaks my heart to say this, but I favor Jake Paul. He chose MMA's actual worst puncher, he's at least trained a bit in boxing, and he's 25 lbs heavier. What really rots me is if Paul wins, we'll never hear the end of how he now beats MMA guys in boxing, having cherry picked the worst one for this contest.
