He did have good MMA wrestling but his record is comprised of beating the B - Team. He never faced the top guys, other than a post prime Lawler. It is like being the best in Div III college sports.

So yes, he was over-rated. His striking is awful on every level. Congrats to funky for making a decent career in MMA by being the top dog in the minor league.
