Sign both Askren and Fitch to a 1-fight deal against each other.

Fight takes place on Facebook prelims because well... It's Fitch and Askren.

Winner gets a 2-fight Fox Prelims contract.

I'm sure it will be the most widely viewed prelim in UFC history!!!

well there's a big difference in competition and the way they finish the fight....

you have askren who needs to land 100,000 pitter patter shots to get the g&p tko, i couldnt even find a gif of him finishing a fight.

This. i like askren and you can only fight who they put in front of you BUT he hasnt faced a gsp, condit or lawler.
Hope one day he will get the chance and we can really see what he is capable of at the top level.

Lawler has been taken down and submitted at will multiple times.

And half of Hendricks' finishes are against guys you've never heard of either.

You have to look at the level of competition as well nothing against the fighters Askren had fought but there no where near the level Hendricks has so this statistic doesn't surprise me at all
