Belt level to play 50/50 guard

As per IBJJF rules from what belt level can one start playing 50/50 guard. Can blue belts play 50/50 guard in a IBJJF tournament?

I'm not sure if you're trolling or not, but the IBJJF rules clarify what counts as a sweep from 50 50, so it's definitely legal.

I dont think there are belt requirements to playing 50 50, only the belt requirements for specific locks. E.g no heel hooks at all, no leg locks at white, straight ankle locks from blue upwards, and toe holds and knee bars at brown and up. But as far as im aware a white belt could play 50 50 for sweeps and passes, without leg locks.

White belts are allowed to do straight ankle locks, but you can't turn into the guy. Go to page 22 of this document for more details.

Also OP, 50/50 is allowed at all belts. But make sure you don't knee reap or go for heel hooks, knee bars or anything other than ankle locks. It will get you DQ'ed.
