In an interview with Attitude magazine, director Bill Condon spoke a little about the character of LeFou (Josh Gad) and his complicated feelings toward his best pal Gaston (Luke Evans).

"LeFou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston," Condon said of the relationship.

"He’s confused about what he wants," Condon continued. "It’s somebody who’s just realizing that he has these feelings. And Josh makes something really subtle and delicious out of it. And that’s what has its payoff at the end, which I don’t want to give away. But it is a nice, exclusively gay moment in a Disney movie."

Well, that's nice. Add one more movie that's banned from the ThunderFlash household.

Wonder what the "payoff" at the end is...

Is this supposed to be a kids film?

If so it the same old thing of Hollywood living in their own bubble.

It's 2017. Are there still people surprised at the existence of gay people? I get that some people don't approve but that doesn't mean we pretend they don't exist either.

They can't and won't stop.

Such a shame. You got to like live in the non-western world to escape this marxist filth.

Kids should not be shown the supposed 'wonders' of the gay lifestyle.

So they re-write an already famous story for kids to include it? Let's make the little mermaid have a cock next, I mean why not it's 2017.

I don't have to respect you or your ideas to tolerate you.

I was mocking your outlook. I apologize for not being clearer. You think it's a virtue to promote homosexuality to kids. To be so tolerant of others. I laugh at the idea of it.

It's not promoting it. It's acknowledging its existence. Showing the realities of the world is not promoting any particular aspect of it. If all the straight characters were awful and seriously flawed, and all the gay characters were perfect and awesome then you'd have an argument. Right now all you have is ignorance and fear driving your interpretation of information.

I'm sure it'll be a tasteful scene that really pushes the plot forward.

By putting it in a film it promotes it. It's one reason they took smoking out. It promoted smoking.

Smoking was heavily glamorized and pushed by the stars in virtually all films for years. Your example is completely different.
