This guy makes some awesome CCW holsters. The tooling on them is pretty wild.

And this guy's work is simply gorgeous!
Brigade Holsters | Leather Holsters; Custom Gun Holsters; Concealed Carry Holsters, Shoulder Holsters, Western Holsters, pistol holsters

The wait time on a Brigade holster is 6-8 months, but reviews on 1911forum and defensivecarry say they're well worth the wait.

I figured I'd but a purekustoms for my Glock 29 since they have them in stock, and place my order to Brigade for my SIG so it will be here by the time it gets cooler again.

Here's the Brigade I want if you don't wanna check the link:

That semper fi holster is friggin amazing! I know what where I'm getting my holster once I decide on a CCW.

He'll also tool any design you can draw or describe to him.

Oh, and thank you for your service!!!!

Those IWB holsters looks quality.

I have a question about carrying IWB, how much tighter does it make your pants? I'm actually about a 30-31 waist but I usually buy my jeans and shorts 32-33 for a looser fit. This is mainly a question with regards to shorts for the summer. I'm getting my permit soon and I'd like to carry right away. Should I just buy one of each kind and go with what's more comfortable for that day?

I should add, I'll probably be carrying a G19 or 26. More likely the 26.

Can you comfortably tuck your hand into your waistband? If so, IWB should be fine. Ironically (I don't care if I am using it wrong) the bigger the leather the more comfortable. These handmades look great and and function well (probably) but a good Galco King tuck is about half the price.

Best explanation I've seen. Can't believe I didn't think of it earlier. Makes the most sense too. Thanks.

Sqrl beat me to it, but if you already buy your pants 2" bigger, you're golden.

Also, that Glock holster is both IWB and OWB.

But always make sure you buy a gun belt. Your standard Dickies belt just will not support the weight of a pistol comfortably. For this I recommend Galco COP belt. It looks like your standard Dickies belt, but designed to carry a handgun.

Beautiful. When I get a really high end 1911...I know where I'll get a holster for it.

I carry a G22 in a Galco IWB holster right in the front of my waistband. When I carried it on the hip, my shorts felt super tight. Slid it to the front and it is super comfortable. Glad I did because I don't look at the gun and think, "should I wear it??" Now I never leave the house without it. I just hate wearing an undershirt to keep the gun off of my skin...summers get a little warm down here

Sounds like you need a sweatshield.

This works fine for me OWB on the hip with Glock 29. I just cover it with a simple t shirt.
