Hi all, I've been thinking about this for the longest time and I haven't found an answer that satisfies my interest.

So what we know is that Badr Hari is a legit top 5, or even top 3 HW striker in the world. There's no real questioning this. No HW in the UFC would be able to deal with Hari's techniques and at 6'6 he poses a lot of problems to just about any HW.

I'm keenly aware of the need for take-down defense, but Hari could spend an exclusive 8 week training camp at Oklahoma University. At Oklahoma, Hari could learn everything he needs to in regard to understanding a wrestler's mentality and how to effectively deal with a good wrestler.

Once Hari learned take-down defense he'd be unstoppable in the UFC. Nobody would be able to deal with Hari's striking.

they said the same about reem and look what happened. Kickboxing and mma are two different sports

I'm sorry, but your opinions are incorrect.

Badr Hari is a good kickboxer. He's not a good mixed martial artist. He has no takedown defense or wrestling ability. He knows this, and therefore he has no desire to lose in a sport he isn't good at when he's making paychecks in kickboxing.

Badr Hari wouldn't be automatically welcome into the UFC. He's a thug and a boob, and he doesn't handle himself well outside of the ring.

I have no desire to watch Badr Hari fight in the UFC. He's got a history of painfully un-sportsmanlike conduct.

What Daley did to Kos would look like a child throwing a stuffed animal compared to the potential shit Hari might get into.

He got knocked out by the reem in k1 and refused to take the mma fight on offer,he doesnt have a ground game and wouldnt learn 1 in 8 weeks.

He would probably make pat barry look like brendan schaub on the ground

MMA record 0-1

Hari has shown a disdain for MMA in general. Outright, he's an amazing striking machine. One of my favorites to watch. But I think he has no interest involved MMA/UFC.

although ONE FC maybe...he throws a mean soccer kick.....

I doubt the UFC would even have much interest in him anyway. The guy is a criminal who can't stay out of trouble and thus is an enormous liability. He would do the UFC more harm then good.

:D 8 weeks of exclusive take down defense training and he is ready for the UFC

He became the only fighter to hold 3 titles at the same time - that's what happened.

The thing is, Reem was training grappling ages ago. Badr from what I know is purely a kickboxer. Learning grappling at his age would be too much of an effort.

reem looks like shit against top level competition in mma
don't let those titles fool you his beat accomplishment was his k-1 title. And he was juiced to the gills imo during that run.

His striking, although powerful, is sloppy. Cain wouldn't even need to take him down and would probably KO tbh.

Like who? Ever since he's been a heavyweight he's clearly been better than his opponents. Cmon, don't tell me u think browne and bigfoot are better fighters? Overeem whooped them and unfortunately has terrible cardio issues which cause him to become defenseless. How hard is it to knockout a guy who can't hold his hands up?

Browne injured himself pretty bad and caused that ko himself and reem had no defense and looked like shit against bigfoot and got ko'd he beat brock who just battled diverticulitis. what other legit top ten wins does he have. where is reem a world beater I enjoy watching him fight but he's a shell of his roided self.

are you awara that he got KO'ed by a MMA striker in reem?
in MMa he wouldn't even be top 15 HW and it's a thin division right now

bwhahaha im not an mma fighter or a big guy but i am a lifetime wrestler and 8 weeks at osu wouldnt prepare hari to wrestle with me much less some of the monsters competing in the ufc. also hari lost to reem as well as the toher way around so lets not act like hes leages better than everyone honest truth is jsd could put hari out just like anyone else and cain would maul him in under a round.

Semmy Schilt is better striker than Hari ever will. 4x K1 GP winner, 7 ft tall but he was not unstappable in UFC/Pride/MMA with 26-14 record.
