Yeah they nailed it by including the mystique gene to explain its nanotech looking adaptability.

In addition to being down to the last of the mutants we see them melt in the movie, they also kill iceman in the Rogue cut.

Good combo of setting up how deadly they are and then showing it

I love the Avengers movies. But none of them had anyone with the acting chops of McKellen and Stewart.

Surprised people here are excited about the X-Men teaser. It seems obvious to me they are just gonna be in one quick scene where they are killed off. Maybe just a flashback/flash forward/dream sequence scene too.

Also it gives me Rise of Skywalker bringing back Palpatine vibes.

Anthony Hopkins and Christian Bale are 2 more. There are a bunch, but Ian and Pat, he lets me call him Pat, had the meatier, recurrent roles.

I think their world will get decimated early on (kinda like crisis on infinite earths) but a small team of x-men will make it to the MCU where we will get mandatory X-men vs Avengers fight and fan service team ups and scenes.

Tommy Lee Jones was in Captain America.
There are some bangers, they just don't have the juicy roles.
Forest Whitaker, Tilda Swinton (sp?), Cate Blanchett (Thor again).
RDJ is a pretty great actor tbh.

True story, I body guarded Tommy Lee Jones for a film premier ages ago. Love him as an actor.

The MCU as a whole has had some fantastic actors, but looking at their overall collective works. Even taking into account the difference in size of roles, I still say Ian and Pat above all.

I sort of agree with your feeling, Ian and Pat where front and center where the other guys are usually in a one and done or secondary role. But there is also the fact the MCU is getting close to 40 different films with different cast and characters, so its almost imposible for them to have that in the majority of teh films.

Kind of my point. Ian and Pat were central to the original trilogy. Pool all the other top actors from the 40 MCU films and their collective screen time may come close to those two.

I see it, but its 3 films versus 40 with diffrent titles, solo characters, etc. X-men worked in that you could put 2 elderly characters in leading roles, you can't really do that in other films, even the x-men spin offs couldn't unless they used Pat like Logan did.
