I'm going to UFC 187 and was thinking about going to the weigh ins. How exactly does this work? I heard it's free but is there usually a long line? Do you need tickets? Any info helps thanks

Open to everyone, no ticket needed. Arrive early because there are long lines, depending on the card. For the last Montreal card (Mighty Mouse), it was very easy to get inside and even get seated.

For other cards, especially PPV, you better arrive 30 min prior the doors opens. They normally open the doors early for Fight Club members but only 30min before the Q&A for others.

Have a good time!

I went to UFC 129 in Toronto (the big ass one). Weigh ins were free, but did "require a ticket" which you were given on the way in. The venue for the weigh ins for that show held 10,000ish people and was packed, but we did find seats (that were on a first come, first serve basis).

For a smaller venue, you're probably best to get there earlier. We sorta just wandered over from the Fan Expo, wondered what the commotion was, and realized it was the weigh ins.

Enjoy the show brotha

The ones I have been to I just walked in but 187 is a bigger deal so not sure how they will do it for that one.

Thanks man!

Are you going to the q&a as well? If so can you ask Reem his shoe size ?

The only weigh in I went to was UFC 145 in Atlanta. They did the weigh in at the Fox Theater instead of at the arena. Showed up an hour early, the line was kind of long outside, but still got great seats. No ticket was required.

I've been to the weigh-ins in Toronto.. Wasn't busy at all. We got great seats.

I've been to a couple of UFC weigh ins and the Affliction Banned event some years back. They're pretty fun, you'll fun into a lot of pro fighters just walking around.

You just walk in. They usually do a Q&A or whatever before that.
