Askren and Diaz over Rory? Curios as to why?

I think I have Hughes over Usman, but I'd have to really sit down and look at it.

They are both 1/3rd of the way to catching GSP.

Lol @ Diaz, TS.
It's close for me as well, but I would rate the quality of competition of Usman as higher. Hence he gets the nod.

Diaz was a legit WW champ in Strikeforce. He was the #2 in the world for a long time at the time. I would've favored him against Koscheck, Alves, Kampmann, etc... who were all top 10 UFC at the time.

Askren was considered the 2nd best welterweight in the world for a decent chunk of GSPs reign and had a very dominant title run in Bellator. Besting the likes of Lima and finishing Koreshkov during his reign.

Diaz had a good run as strikeforce champ and beat some all time greats during that time period, Like Sakurai who himself has a claim to be on the list.

I think Rory probably beats both in his prime, but his accomplishments in the sport don't really match up to either. He did eventually get the Bellator belt against a diminished Lima, but he defended it against mediocre competition in Neiman Gracie and went to a draw with a borderline washed Fitch in his other defense. Then he lost it back to Lima.

I think he has an argument to be ahead of Diaz tbh, but I'd still have Askren ahead of him.

Gotta lmao at how horrifically underrated Hendricks is just because he was blatantly robbed out of the belt TWICE against GSP and Lawler. Plus his terrible fall off and weight issues don't help.

Just saying those two decisions go the right way, his record and legacy would be viewed a lot differently

Alright, I'll give you that. I really wouldn't put him too much lower anyway I guess. 6-7 probably.
