ARTICLE:Paleo for fighters

I get my carbs from veggies&fruit for5days-2Xweek I'll eat white rice or potatoes-only on my Fast twitch training days. Granite Diet
 
Hmm, I never have to cut weight for anything anyway and being Filipino I just can't live without white rice. Anything containing gluten can suck it.

I always take nutrition advice with a pinch of salt. My nutrition lecturer at university taught us to critically evaluate everything and draw our own conclusions. That, and just eat natural, unprocessed foods and you can't really go too wrong.

Having said that, I almost cried tears of joy reading this article. The fact that he's actually dispelling all these crappy myths (fat/cholesterol being bad for you etc etc) actually made my day.

Plus the morning fast. It's practically the same as my nutrition approach.
I might need to read more into the brown rice section though.

More people need to eat sweet potato.

That is great...no one wants to eat that toxic brown rice. What a fucking joke.

This diet sounds alright...or you know, you could just eat bread like a normal person.
 
Paleo = the most overused word in regards to nutrition right now. "Oh ya, I'm eating paleo except for ___________". You also have one group defining paleo different from another group. A bunch of slack jawed yocals trying their best to be cavemen.

Totally agree. I prefer the term "real food".
