No threads on this, just another 20 made about Twitter from the most devoted of War Room footsoldiers. What a coincidence that Elon Musk tries to throw one of his biggest tantrum stunts ever right as his aerospace military complex competitors collaborate on an enormous fucking rocket.

Had a friend drive like 12 hrs just to watch this launch.
Should this not be a bigger rah rah USA moment?

SLS is a consortium project involving Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Aerojet

It's six years late. In other words, right on time.

A lot of otherwise rah-rah USA types hate NASA and don't "believe" the first manned moon landing even took place. Or the second. Or the third. Or the fourth. Or the fifth. Or the sixth, you get my drift.

  • Boeing (BA), Northrop Grumman (NOC) and Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings (AJRD) worked together to build parts of the SLS rocket. Lockheed Martin (LMT) oversaw the development of Orion.
  • The European Space Agency, Jacobs Engineering Group (J) and the United Launch Alliance, a joint venture between Lockheed and Boeing, also participated in building the spacecraft.

The accomplishment should be applauded. No question. I always wondered the balance between space exploration as this is a 100billion dollar project but it is great. I do agree with the other poster that its likely not to be believed and it was all staged lol.

Lol, there plenty of launch/ astronautical based thread in the Mayberry. I don't recall any SpaceX launch threads in the WR outside weirdos claiming the images of the telsa roadster being fake.

Not even sure why this is in the WR room?

I read Elon was involved in Artemis I. Not sure what the gripe is and I didnt find something in the news...

100 billion?

That's nearly as much as they've sent to Ukraine!

(lulz)
True. And this is on one trip. All of the space shuttle missions and lots of things developed my Nasa I have just questioned during rough economic times. Again.. not saying its unimportant. But if we are hurting for money for other things, then I think most spending needs to be focused on necessity at the time.

Lol it only took 2 sentences for Elon's biggest fan to mention him in a thread that has nothing to do with him.

You're obsessed like a jilted teenage ex-girlfriend.

Get some help, my God.
Elon truly has nothing to do with this, it’s crazy how brackis talks about people obsessing over race and trannies but can’t keep Elon’s name out of his keyboard.

There's a large group of mainly righties who believes we have never been to the moon and that NASA is Satanic and its all being done to hide the fact that the earth is actually flat and that theres a filament like the bible says.

So you're a recently banned poster who made his new screen name based off another poster who triggered you?

To be fair, Democrats haven't figured out earth revolves around the sun.

Science study: Republicans struggle with evolution, Democrats struggle with the Earth going around the Sun

Oh, and flat earthers are more likely to be democrats

YouGov found that Democrats are slightly less likely to believe the Earth is round than Republicans (83 versus 89 percent, respectively).

Unfortunately they just can't compete with visionaries who work harder than them!

Uhhh, for someone with your AV, still too thick in the head to grasp the nationalism and spending implications of such an enormous project as a political topic?
There are literally a dozen diff political angles, whether pub-priv partnerships, tax expenditures, war games with other countries, science vs. religion etc...

Funny how you're not confused at the existence of threads crying about who did sign language for a rendition of lion king lmaoo.
Thanks for your contribution.

I've debated extensively on here the intersectional importance of spending on astronautics and spaced based exploration.

And I never once posted in that thread. You do know search function exists and you can look it up, right?
