Arman is seen working with high level wrestlers.

Arman doing some crazy flexiablity drills while Sadualev is watching on and sharing some ideas with Arman.

Arman has achieved the rank of Master of Sport in Freestyle Wrestling, so naturally, his wrestling is at a pretty high level. He has achieved more than Chimaev, Makhachev and Khabib all have in wrestling. He probably would lose clearly to anyone on the national wrestling team, but the experience is invaluable.

I think Arman has a submission grappling match coming up in a few weeks, so he for sure wants to be ready for that.

I think we might see an even better wrestler in Arman than before

He's been training with Khamzat for a year now and now he's training with russian olympians

He knows that those Topuria and maybe Islam fights are upcoming

He won a big one a couple of months ago and then trained with Khamzat.

I don´t think Topuria will ever want to fight Arman period. I think his gonna vacate again post Gaethje fight
Would he just quit the sport, he can't think he is able to move up?

He has been for a while, I've posted about it before. Hes close friends with the Senior coach Vladimir Modosyan. Arman and Eduard Vartanyan (training partners) crossed trained with them and boxing teams in prior camps for a couple years now. Shavkat used to cross train with the Ossetian wrestling team in Russia (forget the gold medalist hed put rounds in with name) and the U23 worlds boxing and wrestling teams in Kazakhstan, since his wrestling coach at Dar was a former Russian nationals medalist from Ossetia and moved to Kazakhstan to coach their youth wrestling Cadet and U23 teams.

Anyways, this is more common than you guys might think. Samandar Murodov would cross train a lot with Somon Makhmadbekov whos an Olympic Bronze Medalist and Asian games gold, theyre personal friends, hed train with the whole Judo team too. Rinya Nakamura of Japan has multiple wins over the 2024 Olympic gold medalist for fucks sake.

When the regionals are harder than the worlds.

I think the sport of wrestling is so different from MMA that while cross training is great, it isnt a significant aspect of the camp. Id argue when Volkanovski was over at Tiger Muay Thai putting in rounds of sparring with guys like Petr Yan and Thai champs and rounds of grappling in the cage with standout wrestlers and Sambo champs turned MMA prospects day after day. Its probably just as beneficial, it just doesnt have that same "wow factor". I care more about who guys have in their camps in terms of coaches and stable mates.

He can beat Illia.

I think Usman Nurmagomedov and Arman Tsarukyan are big problems for Ilia. If Islam stays at 170 or retires, I think we will see Usman come over and get fast tracked. But I also think Ilia is a bit of a worm, just like at 145 he beat up the old guys and got out real quick before facing Evloev, Jean Silva or anyone like that. I think he wants to do similar at 155 and retire. Dont think he wants Arman, think he was Gaethje. Dont think hed be interested in Usman.
