Arlovski Fighting Again? How About This Guy Instead...

Andrei Arlovski vs. Waldo Cortes-Acosta Booked for UFC Fight Night on Jan. 13 (sherdog.com)

I realize a guy who spent time in a Russian prison would probably never be able to enter the U.S. or fight for the UFC, but it would make a lot more sense from a legacy perspective and to fight someone his own age like Datsik. We don't need to see a 31-year old KO him.

Man Aleks seems like one of the biggest wastes of potential in MMA history. Was a huge dude with super quick hands and sambo chops, but I don't think he took training too seriously and kept getting himself into trouble. If he had dedication and stayed clean, he would have been a problem for anyone on the planet.

I meant Datsik primarily...I just threw in those other names because they're close to Arlovski's age. But of course Datsik would be a PR nightmare. He could only fight him in some Russian org.

I just hate to see Andrei get KO'd by some younger dude trying to make his name off a legend. Maybe AA will try his low-risk point fighting style again, but at some point that's not going to work.
