I'm going to be honest, I don't really understand this Henry Cejudo bait game.

The guy feels like he's been retired 5 years, but it's actually been 18 months. That's not a retirement, that's less than half a Dominick Cruz-type break. Miesha Tate retired for 5 years, and got a top job at another company.

Cejudo retired, then instantly started calling out top opponents for elite fights, and hasn't been given a single one.

What is he, Leona Lewis? Are we pretending that if he doesn't fight, his stock rises, he becomes a much-sought after diva? Does he get six dressing rooms and limited media time?

Are people really going to pay $75 to watch Cejudo fight someone on a PPV because he pretended to retire?

I'm not really sure this ploy is working, or interesting. He's giving off nothing but Dillon Danis vibes IMHO.

No lie.. I wouldn’t pay 75 cents to watch that clown.

It’s like Conor, shevchenko or Ngannou. I just can’t watch those people. I literally skip over them in embedded vids or count downs. I don’t want to see them or even hear their voices.

I watch the fight but I wouldn’t pay one red penny for it. Good thing Canada got rid of pennies.

Did he even retire as champ? Nobody cares bout midgets.

If he gets a scrap I'll tune in.

He ditched out and I see no reason to bolster em fer it. Don't care bout personalities or fighter's lives much either...

If I was to buy UFC 270, it would be only to watch Henry Cejudo in Figueiredos corner.

On a stacked card? sure. Last card he was on was pretty stacked.
-T-Ferg, Gaethje, Cruz, Kattar, Stephens, Luque, Price, Ngannou, Rozenstruik, Pettis, Cowboy, Werdum and Mitchell.
So that's pretty good, but I'd never buy a PPV worth 75$ for one fight/fighter.

If he was headlining a weaker card like UFC 258 or a UFC 260, no I would not pay for that even if it was an amazing fight like Cejudo/Yan.

I would pay double that to watch Joe Riggs and Karo Parisyan fight!

I would also pay that much to have Sean Kanan aka Mike Barnes aka Karate's bad boy give me a shout out and sign his new book for me!

Specifically for Cejudo? Definitely no.

No disrespect.

Every fight on the card could be a big fight and I still wouldn't pay that much

Depends who he fought, Triple C vs Volk intrigues me and so does Jones vs Ngannou but I wouldnt pay $75 for either when the highlights are on Facebook 1min after the result.

Dude, not many people will pay $75 regardless who's fighting lol.

CCC has proven himself more than most fighter ever to grace the UFC.
