I have no clue how people can just get by with a laptop.

I need at least

-32 inch monitor (dual screen preferred)
-Wireless Mouse
-Wireless Keyboard

Yet I used to see people in the office just working off of their little screens on their laptop instead, and still working like that at home.

I dont see how you can be productive like that. Laptop screens are too small and mousepad sucks

All I need is one of those privacy screen so I can browse Sherdog discreetly

I hang on high rises and I generally like my swing stage to be set up a certain way for efficiency. Luckily I've been running a crew for the past 5 years so nobody on the jobsite can really argue with me

I ain't doing no work without 2 big monitors, an ergonomic split keyboard, an ambidextrous mouse so I can switch hands, a chair with lumbar support and height adjustable arm rests, a cooler full of beer within reach, and a secretary under the desk to blow me.

My home desktop has a 32" monitor & a wireless mouse & keyboard but it's a dedicated work computer. I'm pretty much chained to it 9.5 hours a day M-F so once my shift is over I don't want anything more to do with it. So, afterward, I spend the rest of my leisure computer time on my laptop. But I never use my Chromebook 15's mousepad. I always use a wireless mouse with it.

My best deep work comes when it's just me, my laptop, headphones, and music.

The older I get, the more I'm liking pure minimalism.

I miss the old snap in docking stations.
These days to get one to work half ass right with dual monitors and shit it’s gotta be expensive and multiple cords.

I do love my home desktops though.
