Messi, Suarez and Neymar!! Been watching highlights of these 3 in action and damn, they just tear teams apart at will. It's beautiful to watch, fast flowing, free expression of football. Messi, IMO, the GOAT of football, Suarez only ever needs a quarter of a chance at goal and it's back of the net!! and Neymar is really coming into his own.

Even when Messi was injured for that period of time, Suarez and Neymar were just killing it.

Honourable mentions:

Invincible era Arsenal. Henry hanging off the shoulder of the last defender, Bergkamp in support, Pires and Ljungberg down the wings, Gilberto as a DMF, giving Viera the freedom to bomb forward, Ashley Cole in his prime coming down the wings ... just COMING AT YOU from all angles ... they were devastating.

Man Utd's Holy Trinity (circa 2006-2009):

This was another potent strikeforce! Prime Rooney, C Ronaldo and Tevez ... they even added Berbatov to the mix later on. Devastating.

Galacticos era Real Madrid:

Brazilian Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, Guti, Raul, R Carlos, later they added Beckham ... the team of stars, they need no introduction.

Any others? Obviously, I'm talking modern era football here. So, in b4 some hipster comes on here and mentions 1970s Napoli or some shit, lol ...

Valderrama, Lassiter, Galderisi of the Tampa Bay Mutiny IMO.

How about Benzema, Ronaldo, Modric, Bale, Isco Alarcon, James Rodriguez

Or Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi, Cavani, Angel Di Maria,

Or even Lewandowski, and Mueller

Or Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, and Alexis Sanchez.

Really?

Or Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi, Cavani, Angel Di Maria,
Excellent attacking up front taking advantage of much weaker French clubs who don't have the same amount of money they do which is why they haven't excelled in Europe.

Or even Lewandowski, and Mueller
Excellent duo up front. I would add Roben in with them, but they're still not on the same level as MSN.

Or Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, and Alexis Sanchez.
Excellent trio, still not on the same level as MSN.

There's also Barça's past Messi, Eto'o and Henry, Bayern's Müller, Robben and Ribery, Inter's Sneijder, Eto'o and Milito, etc.

There's been quite a few quality trios in recent football history.

I hate it when people bring these things up specially when they're not old enough to having had actually lived through it and are just basing their opinions on things they've read online and YouTube videos they've watched.

No one can touch them in the last several decades.

Top candidates for #2 are Ronaldo-Zidane-Figo-Raul Real Madrid. Maybe current Lewandoski-Muller-Robben. Maybe Eto'o-Henry-Ronaldinho-Messi Barcelona.

Going back to ancient history, 1950s Real Madrid with Di Stefano, Puskas and Gento and 1940s River Plate (for you thumbsuckers, google "la maquina river plate")

2014 BBC was pretty solid but MSN is starting to gain some longevity to their form and don't look like slowing down aside from a game hear or there. How fruid MSN are with their movements and how unselfish they are is truly a joy to watch. Excited to see how Turan does being added into the mix.

Bojan, Shaqiri and Arnautovic imo

Who has been doing better in El Clasico as of late?

Also I want to add Chelsea's Eden Hazard, Willian, Diego Costa, was Didier Drogba with them, when he was there?

Nice shout with Inter, I remember when Inter had Ibrahimovic and Adriano (when he was good).

This AC Milan team (circa 2005, I think), were also pretty damn good. They had so much strength in depth in that squad, they had Shevchenko in his prime playing for them, too.

Milan and Inter used to be so good.

Can't believe how much they've both fallen off in a couple of years.

Inter have made a bit of a comeback this year, AC are just straight out terrible.

Henry, Messi and eto > MSN for me

Brazil 2002 is a good shout with Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho up front
