Multiplat Anyone using Rpg Maker? Game makers?

I bought MV and VX Ace on steam quite a while ago. Every now and again I reinstall it but tend to lose focus when I have to go digging through dead links for free sets that suit my concepts. Installed MV again and want to make something quick and fun, cos let's face it, no one wants to spend a lot of time on an Rpg Maker game unless it's short or very highly made.

When last I used it I made an active day and night cycle with weather conditions. It was for a game I where you play as this sort Abe's Oddysey inspired character and you just live in the world doing jobs getting promotions, living life with some farming and home upgrades. You could start a job doing dishes in a kicthen and work your way up to becoming a chef, or buy a bike and do courier runs. It had a Zeldaish style combat system too. and I used the default battle system as a mini game. Not sure I want to go through all that effort again but considering working on something of a similiar concept but smaller and tighter in scale. The other would had cameos like Goku asking for help to find Dragon Balls and Mario taking a day off so you can storm Bowser's castle for him.

Right now I'm in the mood to make something along the lines of Tactics Ogre with Sim management.

It's something I want to do in theory, but it's so so so so much work for a game that no one is going to play.
