Anyone know how Khabib is so strong?

If you look at his body, he looks very average compared to some other monsters like Abdel Trujilio and Gleison Tibau but he literally manhandles everyone. Even Rockhold said he's never grappled with a 155lb guy as strong as Khabib. He doesn't even look like he takes supplements let alone any peds. How the fuck is he so damn strong?

Core strength from wrestling since he was in kindergarden in a badass no-pussies-(or pussy)-allowed environment.

Bear wrestling, mountain training, etc. He doesn't have that Instagram bodybuilder body but he has that functionally strong wide-torso farm boy strength body.

It doesn't matter how you look. Trujillo and Tibau aren't very good. If looks mattered Sage would be champ.

Just years of training. Beach muscles aren't that functional for fighting/grappling.

Look at his forearms. Being big zaps your cardio.

Not having woman's waist like Conor helps. Besides, it's mostly conditioned strength in one area, wrestling.

Actual thing is, you shouldn't judge people's athleticism based how they look stationary. Many of athletes look incredible in motion, not standing in one place for a camera.

A lot of really strong guys don't necessarily have a lot of muscle definition. I'm sure Khabib is naturally strong as hell, but there's also a difference between gym strength and functional strength. He may or may not be a beast on the weights in the gym, but he undoubtedly has freakish grappling strength. It's probably a combination of having a really strong core, really good balance, and excellent grappling technique. When you combine all of those things, then yeah, I'm sure it probably does feel like you're grappling with someone who is significantly bigger than you.

I wrestled around with a particular guy my freshman year of college once. Once. I probably outweighed him by 40 pounds. He absolutely ragdolled my ass. It felt like he had 100 pounds on me. Turned out he was a state champion wrestler in high school and was just over it and didn't want to continue at the college level.

Weight lifters can lift much more than body builders but they don't look like bodybuilders.
What you think a strong man looks like isn't what a strong man looks like.
Watch strongman competitions for other examples.

Doing it all his life, genetics and fighting in a weight class below his natural weight

Check out "grip strength" videos - pretty cool seeing scrawny 135lb teens outmuscle hulks.

Strength training is different from muscle building.

Heh, neither do people who take supplements.

He has fought people smaller and less muscular than him, if he moved up to 170 I believe he would get exposed.
