I've been waking up at 4 in the morning because of lower back pain. I'm a side sleeper and I go to bed with no back pain but around 4am, my lower back is in pain and I can't find a good sleeping position where it doesn't hurt. But when I get up, the pain goes away quick. It's a pain in the ass, I get up sleepy as shit when all I wanna do is go back to sleep

If ur a side sleeper ur bed should be medium firm but in the plusher/softer side. If ur bed is firm, u already know that’s not good.

However, I know someone that has rheumatoid arthritis.. get blood work done. That is the only way.

Sagging mattress? Try turning it (rotating not flipping).

Also check your pillow height is ok.

This is fairly true too

Tell your boyfriend to take it easy on you.

I'm recently noticing only now after maybe two years I am able to toss and turn smoothly without pain or fear of knot in spine restricting movement. I had bumped my spine on wall corner and at some point started rubbing it and the knot went away and I guess if it went away completely the result is smoother motion.

Either the back problems was from bumping corner or it was from lifting full case of paper out of shopping cart where at that moment I felt something but it wasn't painful.

See if you have a lump on your spine and if so rub it like it's a bruise you want to clear up.
