How does bamboo fabric compare to cotton?
Does bamboo have any stretch to it? I know inverted uses
a bamboo/cotton blend like SYR with some of their pants
where they use polyester cotton blend. I can't really
tell any obvious differences with twill or 100% cotton.
How is the cut of the inverted gear GI? Thanks.

The IG cut is slightly shorter than SYR in length, but slightly wider for their pants as well.

I've had a few bamboo blends and they're soft gi's, I don't think they stretched a lot as long as they're a 450 or 500 gsm. Anything 350 and they'll stretch and/or shrink a bit.

Thanks for the response. I'm looking for SYR alternatives and Moya Brand seems like the closest clone. Kingz's sizing chart actually has non-overlaps which is really weird.
You can actually be between A2 and A3 and the chart will actually show that you're in between sizes. I always thought highly of Manto but again their sizing appears off.
I remember your responded to my question and posted some brands.

Got mine this morning. Rolled in it today. I thought the cut of the top was a little bigger than SYR. Arm definitely longer. Gi top is super comfortable and lightweight. Pants are ripstop. I would prefer a lightweight bamboo/cotton. Collar is super thin, so I would consider this to be more of a training gi than a competition gi.

Did you get the Navy bamboo gi? Collar is really that thin? SYR's collar is kind of thin compared to CTRL.

Yes, the navy from BJJHQ. Collar feels thinner than my SYR, CTRL, and Do or Die Hyperfly. I will try to remember to compare them all when I get home tonight.

Got the CS from Inverted the day it released, favorite gi by far. Most comfortable softest gi on the market that I know of. Got the navy on the way or may be at the PO have not had a chance to get there yet. The 350 gsm is awesome and I love it. If you are on the fence about getting one jump. It does shrink if you wash it in hot like I do, shrinks a lil more than cotton. But not as bad as a gold weave.

Too lazy to post sherdog via mobile but the always generous Nelson hooked me up with the new navy bamboo and its 100% well done. UUUUUUltra soft, only thing that challenges the bamboo jacket's softness is gold weave on the level of 93 brand Tau and 100kg. By far the softest pearl weave surface on earth. & The muted like green trim looks great on the dark navy.

The first Panda CS gi I received was an a2. It was the biggest a2 I've ever worn, by a lot, very loose fit for the jacket even after shrinking. The pants were still big but not as over sized as the jacket. I find it relatively very difficult to break grips on the sleeves with this gi, not sure if it's because of larger sleeves or the fabric, which seems to be at least a bit stretchy (but is also very soft and comfortable I must say). The really problem came after I washed it, the purple color bled a TON. Spots all over the gi after one wash, it would make just bleed guy proud. Being pretty pissed over this I e-mailed customer service, they responded very quickly, told me that some gis in the first batch were having color bleed problems and sent me an A1L which would hopefully fit better, as well as specific anti bleed washing instructions.

The A1L fit me much better than the a2, but I would still say it was looser than any other a2 I've tried on. Still had similar difficulties breaking grips, still soft and comfortable just like the a2. Washed it with specific anti color bleeding instructions, (soaking it in vinegar, etc) and color still bled on the gi, though not as bad as the first one. I hoped that this was maybe just a one time thing and that now the color was finally set I used it a few more times, every time I washed the gi I would follow the same anti bleed instructions but it bleeds more every time. I still use them from time to time for repping only sessions, but if I wash them with anything else the other clothes will get purple spots on them so they aren't quite my go tos.

When all is said and done I can't recommend the panda CS, but with the excellent customer service from inverted gear I'll probably purchase another gi from them in the future, one with a simpler color scheme though, sucks when a gi you think is going to look good ends up looking like rubbish because it's got purple spots all over.

EDIT
I should mention again that the gi that bled on me was a Panda CS, unbleached with purple contrast, this gi isn't on the inverted gear official site anymore and I've never tried on their navy blue bamboo gi that they have now, probably won't have the same kind of bleeding problems with that color scheme.
