Something I noticed in the yesterdays episode:

oh shit, i didn't even know that there is a new season

Saw this just a moment ago.

Larry David is reaching for those grapes. He’s trying to make his wine, and the wine’s already soundin’ like a violin with that cheese and wine.

When I first watched Curb Your Enthusiasm I couldn’t keep watching because Larry is just too good at being annoying and has no redeemable qualities.

But several years later, I gave it a second chance. And realised that I simply wasn’t bitter and cynical enough in my younger days to get it...... but now I get it.

Also, I don’t think Tito wrote that. Because both ‘Tito’ and ‘Ortiz’ are spelled correctly, and have no backwards letters. Like when children write.

The point of Larry is to reflect the horrible qualities of everyone around him (basically all of whom are terrible, disingenuous people).

You think tito signs ionto his docs office with his nickname or does he use jacob his given name

First few seasons were really fucking good

Now it's just overplayed and you can see the dialogues coming from a mile away, lazy writing

I'm a Seinfeld fan and I remember years ago a friend of mine suggested Curb, saying how is it better than Seinfeld. I watched the Pilot and thought that it was crap. I gave it another chance after time and became totally obsessed with it.

Can't speak to the new seasons but at its best it nearly rivals Seinfeld which is the GOAT sitcom. The cynicism and bickering gets a little heavy at times though. Seinfeld had a better balance of cynicism and lightheartedness, a better pace and classic dialogue.
