Hello,

Now that Brute have stopped making the Shockwave headgear and after speaking to them they have no plans for a replacement does anyone know of similar headgear?

I like the fact the shockwave is low profile and does not have a hard outer so would not hurt my training partner.

I ask as after a number of years my pair need replacing.

So far I have found these

Isami Ear Guards for BJJ Grappling MMA Wrestling

but if you guys have any other ideas that would be great

I used the Shockwave model, but it was slipping a whole lot. I got the Quad model and have no regrets.
There are no hard edges on the Quad and I never heard any complaints from my training partners.
I still have the Shockwave in black and if you are interested in it, let me know and I will mail it to you as long as you cover the shipping costs.

Matman makes a similiar version to the shockwave that I believe stays secured better than the Shockwave. Mine would often separate during intense rolls. A teammate has the Matman Ultra Soft guards and doesn't have that problem..and he doesn't need to tape up the velcro fasteners!! I'm pretty sure you can find them at www.suplay.com for $23.

get the cliff keen tornado's i used those when i wrestled in HS. never got hurt and i heard everything

mattman centaur earguard is good and cheap serious contender against the cktwister, the brute zerog6 is not bad too. I have no complains so far

the twisters suck, the tornados are ck's best headgear ever especially if u want something soft for ur partner but still able to protect ur ear

Thanks for the input guys I have bought a mat man and at the sae time bought the Zero as it look very cool and was only $9.99 :) I will see how I get on.

Again thank you for your time :)

u bought the matman ultra soft? drop us a review on that!

many will appreciate it !

No worries will do. It maybe while as I like to test thing out for quite a while rather than an initial "Wow these things are amazing" type review I see a lot of.
