I wasn't impressed by the first trailer. Hopefully, this one is an improvement.

Looks fun. Kang is a great character so I hope they do him justice.

I'll catch it on streaming service.

Not a fan of race-swapped fictional characters so they're already off to a bad start as far as my interests are concerned.

I know nothing of this guy Kang other than him knowing all timelines (right?), but theres something about him going hand to hand with ant man that makes me think hes a pussy.

It's not an Ant Man movie, it's an Avengers prequel.

It's both. Not all the Marvel movies have to heavily focus on the character they are named after. Civil War was clearly about much more than just Captain America. In fact that movie was used to setup a lot of things in the marvel universe. Could be a similar thing here with Ant-man.

the comics i've read with Kang, he's been a weapons and tech guy...not a hands to hands guy.

Even though Kang was introduced in Loki, this movie is clearly intended to put him in line to be the next universal threat. The next Avengers movie has his name in the title, and the one after that clearly spins out of it. It's setting up the ball for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty to spike.

One of the MCU's faults has become it's interdependence. It's nearly impossible for them to tell a story without incorporating elements from other properties and not letting characters and stories stand on their own.

I disagree here. It actually puts me in a position where I feel like I need to watch everything they release. I'm a huge super hero fan so not a big deal to me but I do feel pressure not to miss any of their shows\movies.

Letting characters and stories stand on their own can be good but doesn't really matter to me in the grand scheme of it all. I prefer the way they are doing it now. In fact I think most people do and even DC is completely destroying their whole DCU to do exactly what Marvel is doing.

I'm hoping this is misdirection; there is no way Kang can be the big bad after this.
