Anderson Silva, who is in Australia preparing for a fight following a nearly two-year absence, didn't follow the script and answered a question from ESPN Brazil on who he considers to be the best MMA fighter.

"Jon Jones," said Silva when asked on who would win a fight between them with both at their peak. "He's an excellent fighter. I consider him like a younger brother and I believe he is the evolution of this sport."

He is the best AND he cheats which makes him practically unbeatable.

His wrestling is just too good.
His striking while technically not the best ... it combined with his range and with his threat of clinch and takedowns makes his striking the best as well.

Add in eye pokes, kicks to the knee, stamina, chin, picograms, dick pills ... he is the best.

He just offers too many weapons whether legal or not.

I agree with Silva that Jones is the GOAT and we are now from the Cormier fight at a new point of MMA. Call it the Pico-USADA era. It will be interesting to see how the greats establish themselves now that USADA has been compromised. To be fair, I expected this from the start of USADA without the public knowing about it. I never thought they would test guys like Conor, Jones, GSP, etc...., it would be a way for Uncle Dana to keep the gravy train rolling on full throttle.

Just like them, Jones represents the pinnacle of his field, and just like them, he can always say he is/was the best, but there will always be an asterisk next to his name pointing out that he was unable to pass the same drug test (or tests) that his fellow UFC contractors were in fact able to pass.

Think about it like this. If they were testing for crack, and jones failed all the tests he failed. Would you say this is a misunderstanding or would you call him a Crackhead?

logically speaking, you can't deny it...jones has never lost a fight..has beaten literally everyone...and has only had like 2 competitive fights, in his entire career...gus and first dc...even though the dc fight, wasn't all that close...so pretty much only 1 truly competitive fight, which he avenged savagely...the haters wanna try and attach an asteric due to alleged steroid use...even though jones does not rely on anything that steroids boost...namely, speed, power, strength...he beats people with his variety of strikes, long reach, height...he mixes up his wrestling and striking perfectly...he can take away peoples weapons easily...like he did with gus' boxing...

Hmmmm, so usada, wada and the other drug agencies testing jones have all said, that jones did not re ingest any steroid, are all lying?...it's one huge coverup...right, haters? is that what you want us to believe? fact is this...whether jones took a couple of turinabol pills at some point or took them mistakenly, he hasn't tested for any new ingestion for quite some time...he whooped gus' ass, without any new ingestion of anything...so all the haters can disbelieve everything all the drug agencies are saying, all they want...but they are the experts, not you...and they say he's not cheating...end of story...

armstrong is a known cheater....while jones has passed his last few tests, while still destroying Gus...you might choose not to believe what usada and wada have both said..that he did NOT reingest any steroid, but the facts remain..they have all said he is not cheating...
