No not the new game. I love this genre. Was looking for more game in this line and Cultivation Simulator was coming out on top every time. Never even heard of it.
It is a sim game with a premise of managing/maintaining/training your own Wuxia sect. It is complex as hell and I've restarted a few times but so far I have to say I agree with the reviews. There's a whole lot of depth in it and steeped in Chinese mytholody. For example in the character creation screen the game pushes randomised animal human hybrids on you ... and this is because in Chinese mythos these animal creates were an affront to the gods so if you play as one you inevitably get struck down from the heavens. IDT I've ever seen a game adding a joke that nasty.
I can't find a shorter review but all in all I think this is one of the best Sim I've played. I've gone over the reviews and have barely even started but the level of depth I'm experiencing even now is impressive. Basically if you ever wanted to start your own crouching tiger dojo this is for you.
