I think that the Lakers need a superstar since Lebron is 40yo and about to retire in a couple of years, and also Mavs didn’t want to pay Luka his max extension of 350mil, since he’s apparently lazy, fat and always injured. I for one always hoped that he would go to the Lakers.

That is the most lopsided trade I can recall, Luca is a top 5 talent. I am sure this will please the league as it will certainly boost viewership for all those nationally televised LA Laker games.

Still, crazy shitty trade from Dallas' perspective. I have to believe they could have gotten much more from another team like Utah, OKC or various others clubs with more draft capital. I just don't get it. Terrible for the franchise. Perhaps they will move to Vegas and Dallas will get an expansion team. Maybe that's the end game?
