He knows what nate gets paid, knows exactly whats in his contract because he hired the same management company for the conor fight.

Said if nate was to fight him or anyone (im guessing a high ranked opponent) he would make over a million, actually a couple of million for that matter.

Said if nate doesnt want to fight its not down to money its because of the opponent.

Eddie seems very certain on this.

Does nate really get paid millions without PPV. I know his base rate was 2m for conor but its conor.

The longer he's away the less he's worth IMO. I think he's worth at least a million guaranteed based on how his PPVs did with Conor. Nate vs Alvarez is a sellable fight with a good card behind it.

The Diaz brothers have a very faithful core group of fans. It is however, a small group. And, it is likely getting smaller everyday. Out of sight, out of mind. For both those guys.

Nate’s been gone for 18 months. Nick is on a 3 fight skid. Well, 2 losses, and a NC after Silva, and Nick both tested positive for banned substances. And, that fight was 3 years ago. The Conor noobs have probably never even seen a Nick fight in real time. And, they certainly didn’t give a fuck about Nate before 196.

Nate was ranked 8, a week before he beat Conor. Inexplicably jumps up to number 5. During fight week. Talk about some shady shit. And, he was I believe, making 50/50 at the time.

He does not sell ppvs. He is not a draw. And, is never getting 2 million dollars to fight anybody. That’s fuckin absurd. Unless, it’s the trilogy fight, of course.

Alvarez is fuckin dreaming, here.

Nobody gives a fuck. And, Nate ain’t headlining shit. Certainly not a ppv... It’s preposterous.

Anybody need proof that this is bullshit ? Answer this for me. If this was legit... Why hasn’t Nate fought ? Why wait for Conor, if he can pull down 2 million/fight. Especially, since Conor has been out of the UFC for 15 months, himself. And, may NEVER return.

Nate is certainly a draw these days. For example he was on Conan O’Brien’s show! How many fighters can say that? How many fighters get the call?

People like how he carries himself. It’s different than other fighters acting tough. He can also say that he finished Conor. That’s a fact.

If he gets the right opponent he will make boatloads of money. I guess he’s coming back this year, so we’ll see. I’ll tune in.

Yeah but he could get many times that if he holds out for Conor. What he earned previously is irrelevant, what matters is what he can earn fighting someone else versus what he can earn fighting Conor. Although that Conor fight isn't a guarantee but even if there is a 30% chance it happens its probably worth waiting for.
