Burke. Ash did not have a choice. Burke trying to get the face huggers to implant Ripley and Newt is cowardly and scummy. Paxton telling him, “You’re dog meat pal!” is an underrated line of his too.

But him trying to choke Ripley to death with the magazine is legit a great scene. It’s just visceral and him getting bashed and spilling the milk synth blood is just unnerving.
 
Burke. And it's not close. In fact, Paul Riser played such a great douche bag in that movie, that I actually hated him personally for many years after that lol. It wasn't until he was in the sitcom Mad About You with Helen Hunt, that I started liking him again.
 
With zero doubt it's Burke. Dude is god tier slime.

Burke by armbar in the first round. A lying, manipulative coward with zero redeeming qualities.

Ash had no choice but to follow his programming. He also gets an iconic scene, the attack on Ripley, which is as chilling as a Xenomorph attack. Mild-mannered Ash is suddenly murderous and much stronger than he looks. And he gets one of the best lines in the entire series,

Ash, "The perfect organism. It's structural perfection is matched only by it's hostility".

Lambert, "You admire it?!"

Ash,"I admire it's purity. A survivor unclouded by conscience, remorse or delusions of morality. I cannot lie to you about your chances...but you have my sympathies":cool:

Looking at that scene now where Burke lets out the face hugger in the room with Ripley and Newt he must had to opening up that jar somehow and if so why didn't the face hugger attack him?

I guess maybe Aliens don't like the taste of slimy meat.{<shrug}

Ripley made sure the small jacket was pulled up snugly around the girl's chin before turning to crawl out from beneath the cot. As she turned to roll, she caught another glimpse of the rest of the Med lab—and froze.

The row of stasis cylinders stood just inside the doorway that led toward the rest of Hadley central. Two of them were dark their tops hinged open, the stasis fields quiescent. Both were empty.

Fucker singlehandedly caused the deaths of the entire LV-426 colony, plus the marines sent in to rescue. Lies through his teeth to Ripley about why they’re going, promising her that they’re NOT going to try to bring one back and that they’re going there to destroy them, only to give the horse shit “now I don’t think you or I have the right to destroy an entire species” speech to Ripley et al after escaping the power station. Gives Ripley the whole “I thought you’d be smarter than this” speech. Then he tries expose Ripley and Newt to a face hugger. Lastly, in his last moments he finds one last way to be a piece of shit by running away and locking all the doors behind him in Ripley and crew’s faces.

World class piece of shit. One cinema’s finest scumbag dirtbags.
