Every single time I’ve seen Jackson fight, he’s been brutally KO’d. Don’t see this being any different.

Hernandez early or Day-Drinkin Damon by decision

Interesting fight.
Jackson is offensively very sharp but prone to getting overwhelmed by better athletes and Hernadez's entire skill set is revolved around hiding a lack of fundamentals behind athleticism. Either way this fight goes I think it's a guarenteed finish.

I'm leaning Jackson because the pressure he brings once his game is clicking with his hands and grappling is something we've seen give Hernandez issues and the grappling should be sharp enough to always keep Hernadez burning a ton of energy..... but this also feels just as likely that Hernadez lands a flying knee in a minute against a slower opponent. Great matchup between 2 skilled but flawed offensive fighters.

I'm guessing Jackson gets the late sub.

I've always felt like Jackson is chronically underrated, but he really let me down against Ige. I honestly felt like he had a serious chance at winning that fight if he had fought smarter and I will die on that hill. That said, he he had a razor-thin and competitive fight against Billy Q, who starched Alex fairly recently. Granted, MMAth rarely works out like that -- it was Alex's first foray down at 145 (and his weight cut and pace seemed more dialed in against Algeo afterward) and stylistically I'm not surprised that Jackson would be able to drag the fight out of Billy Q seeing as Quarantillo is a similar archetype to him in many ways.

I want to favor Damon because he's one of my perennial underdogs that I love backing and I genuinely believe he could pull it off if he plays to his strengths... but Alex has a good chance of KO'ing him at any point in the bout.

Alexander I find loses fights he should win in weird ways.
Meh, don’t got any faith in Jackson to avoid getting brutally KO’d again. Hernandez is hot and cold but it should still be enough to beat someone like Jackson.

The longer the fight goes the worse Hernandez gets, Jackson all the way. Jackson could possibly KO Hernandez or submit him.

I wrote this before reading all of your post (my ADHD gets the better of me sometimes, lol), seems like we had the same idea though. 🤟

I was wondering if Alex was getting cut after his last fight but it seems he is getting a gimme fight. Alex will still need to atleast win his next two or he is done.

Probably should just go back up to LW and be a mid level guy and fight the rest of his career there as he is dangerously close to being cut.

Don't understand why he insists on fighting at FW now he's 0-2 against guys roughly on the level of Damon. Even if he manages a win here I really don't think 145 is the weight class for him.

Fighting Jackson is not even close to what I'd call a gimme fight, sorry. Most people think Jackson is gonna win, myself included.
