Alexa. Spinny sh:t aside, Val is on the decline. The Santos fight was the beginning of the end, the first Grasso fight was the middle, and this will be the end. She can still be competitive with most of her peers, but she is no longer in a class by herself.

She's no spring chicken anymore. If grassos TDD and ground game has gotten better it's a tough night. Val can't win on speed at her age :(

Val's stance on the first fight was valid but I don't agree that she was as dominant as she seems to think she was.

She definitely one a round, though the others were pretty close. It was by no means in the bag.

Hopefully she can make those tune ups, tho that spider monkey by Alexa was dope af.

I got Val. Stop it with the pointless spinny shit, though.

Agreed. People seem to forget that Shevchenko was on her way to winning until the spinning attack backfired. Grasso was at best competitive with her on the feet, and losing handily on the ground. Had the spin/catch/crank not happened, Shevchenko would have been up 3-1 going into the fifth round.

But you're getting the same mindset here as you do with Jones, or any dominant champion. People see the challenger not getting destroyed and somehow decide that's basically a loss for the champion.
