Anyone watch this show? I powered through it last week, didn't see any threads on the topic.

It's about a teenager who lives with his uncle

When uncle dies, kid goes looking for answers

He gets into the world of espionage

hilarity ensues, scratch that, action and suspense ensues

I would give it a solid 7/10

i wasn't aware there was a movie, season 1 just completed, there will be a season 2 based on how season 1 ended

Yep pretty much exactly my impression as well. A solid 7/10, not memorable but entertaining the whole time.

Too much time spent at the prison school. Just wasn't that interesting of a setting. Really killed the pacing. I think they did a decent job to present his level of skill and experience as somewhat realistic instead of automatically being James Bond.

The books were popular and pretty good. When I switched to writing for teens it was one of the better series I sampled.

It was a great YA book series, but come wake me up when they make a Fire-Us Trilogy film/TV adaptation
