Watching the past 2 wins Alex has over Israel and how sharp hes been looking in UFC, leads me to think that he can KO Israel again. If anything the smaller mma gloves are better for Alex to get his punches through Israels guard. I doubt Israel will be able to grapple pereira or do much wrestling.

This is going to be a kickboxing fight in a cage. The fight will be competitive of course but I think Israel will be fighting conservative, has alot more to lose here. Alot of moving, jabbing, angles, backpedaling but over 5 rounds I think Alex will find plenty of opportunities to cut off Israel, and land his combos.

With Alex's raw power and deceptive set ups he will be able to create opportunities to touch up Israel. All he needs is, one good punch to land and Israels chin collapses.

Izzy can very easily pull an Ngannou if he wants tho. He has said on interviews plenty of times that this is MMA so he might want to mix it up to prove a point.. Bruno Silva was almost taking him down at will (wasn't able to keep him down but I'm sure Izzy's wrestling is better than Bruno..)

Izzy was touching him up in the last fight. I think the smaller gloves favor the man who lands more often, plus Adesanya should have a clear grappling advantage having done it for 5x the amount of time.

Sure Israel has better defensive wrestling than Bruno but come on... We know Israels offensive wrestling sucks in comparison to Brunos. Israels bread and butter is his striking and defensive wrestling. Hes not suddenly gonna be a great offensive wrestler. Also keep in mind Alex Pereira trains grappling with Glover who is elite. The wrestling/Grappling aspects of this fight are exaggerated.

Its gonna be a kickboxing fight in a cage man.

Alex has been training with Glover for years, I'm sure his TDD will hold up just fine against someone like Izzy.

You hear that, it’s a lock fella’s, TS just told us who wins.

Let’s skip this ppv now.

IMO Alex wins this easily if he pressures forward consistently with his power and combos. IF he plays the shot for shot with Israel he loses a UD.

either adesanya outsmart him to a UD
or pereira surprise us all and take him to kickboxing school
there won't be a finish in this fight

On the subject of Bruna Silva, did you see him get out struck by Gerald Meerchaert?

The fact that Pereira is in a title fight given who he's beaten is hilarious.

...and to think how many people said Izzy was getting the kid gloves treatment when he beat three top ten guys, a guy who would go on to become a top five guy and Anderson before getting a title shot.

Alex looked like shit against Bruno Silva. If he performs like that against Izzy, how can he win?
